Our Mission

Through the power of sports and the lessons they teach, You’re Perfectly Imperfect is committed to creating an empowering environment where youth — especially girls — can grow into the best possible versions of themselves. We help them understand the importance of discipline, drive, and emotional wellness, while providing the education, resources, tools, and support they need to reach their full potential and embrace their perfectly imperfect identity.

Our holistic programs prioritize social responsibility, financial literacy, and mental wellbeing — equipping youth with skills in budgeting, saving, and investing, along with a strong sense of self-worth, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence. We also lead the You’re Perfectly Imperfect Coalition, a movement dedicated to raising awareness around self-love, mental wellbeing, and suicide prevention awareness.

As part of our expanding vision, we proudly introduce Domin8HER, our newest affiliate initiative, created to increase access and visibility for girls in the rapidly growing sport of flag football. With the sport heading to the Olympics, there is an urgent need for more transparent pathways, resources, and opportunities for young women to participate and lead in this space. Domin8HER represents not just athletic development, but a bold effort to ensure equity, representation, and support for girls in sports across Georgia and beyond.

Together, we’re building a generation of strong, self-aware, and purpose-driven young leaders — on and off the field.

Motto: Love. Legacy. Leadership.
Shea Stanley is a purpose-driven humanitarian, mentor, and servant leader whose life’s work centers around empowering underserved communities, championing youth development, and advancing equity in education, sports, and entrepreneurship. Her mission is fueled by truth, integrity, and a deeply rooted belief in the transformative power of love.
With over 25 years of experience in financial services, paralegal work, and community leadership, Shea brings a rare combination of strategic insight and heart-centered service. As a Vice President in financial services, a certified paralegal, and a seasoned professional, she now devotes her expertise to mentorship, grassroots engagement, and hands-on programs that equip youth and families with real-world tools.
In 2024, Shea was honored with the Gold President’s Volunteer Service Award in recognition of her outstanding dedication to community service and lifelong commitment to volunteerism. Shea is also approved to issue Presidential Awards for volunteerism, empowering others to be recognized for their service. Shea received an Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Humanities for her work in the community from United Graduate College & Seminary International. That same month, she was invited to join The George Washington Carver Farms Foundation, a committee under Fernwood Community Outreach Church, led by Rev. Dr. Albert Richard Sampson — a 501(c)(3) organization. Dr. Sampson was ordained by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., making this appointment especially meaningful.
Shea works closely with the Georgia State University Extension Program, pouring into the lives of youth in the community. She was one of the founding Co-Chairs of the Next Gen program under the National Business League, originally founded by Booker T. Washington.
Shea has served as a mentor with the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office and provided support to displaced youth through her work with Covenant House. Actively engaged in youth summits, workshops, and school-based programming, she teaches financial literacy, entrepreneurship, mental wealth, and career exploration to youth and adults alike — always in accessible, community-centered ways.
Shea is the co-founder of You’re Perfectly Imperfect, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to uplifting youth through the pillars of sports, financial literacy, mental wellbeing, and mentorship. Through this initiative, she creates safe spaces for healing, growth, and opportunity — where young people are supported in embracing their perfectly imperfect identities. You’re Perfectly Imperfect also houses BridgeEd, a free virtual tutoring program created by high schoolers for high schoolers. Tutors earn volunteer hours to help keep the program free, providing equitable academic support for students who need it most.
Shea has also launched DOMIN8HER, a new girls’ flag football initiative designed to provide access, visibility, and leadership opportunities for girls ages 10–17. In partnership with retired NFL quarterback Quincy Carter, the program reflects Shea’s vision for equity in youth sports — especially within a space that still lacks transparency and structure for girls. With flag football heading to the Olympics, Shea is raising awareness around the urgent need for resources, coaching pathways, and meaningful investment in girls’ sports. DOMIN8HER stands at the intersection of athletics, empowerment, and opportunity.
At the core of Shea’s work is an unwavering commitment to social betterment and the empowerment of underserved communities. She is deeply passionate about financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and the transformative power of youth sports. Through public speaking, she shares her expertise to equip individuals with the tools they need to succeed in both business and life.
A lifelong believer in the power of mentorship, Shea’s career reflects her dedication to societal growth and individual development. Her leadership within the Foundation and her voice as a speaker reflect her drive to create positive, lasting impact.
Shea is a woman of great faith and was raised in Illinois. Shea holds a Paralegal Certification from Carthage College, a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Columbia College of Missouri, and a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Keller Graduate School of Management.
